HISTORY

Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions embarked on its journey in 1970 with the visionary leadership of Dr. Rüstem Eyüboğlu. It began with the establishment of Arı Private Tutoring Center, paving the way for the founding of Eyüboğlu College in 1985. Initially based in Kadıköy, the institution expanded its reach by relocating to the Çamlıca campus in 1988. That same year, Eyüboğlu Kadıköy Primary School was inaugurated, marking a significant milestone in its growth.

The Çamlıca campus witnessed further development with the establishment of Eyüboğlu Science High School in 1993 and Eyüboğlu Çamlıca Primary School in 1998. These expansions solidified the institution's presence as a pioneer in education on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.

In the following years, Eyüboğlu broadened its horizons by opening schools in Koşuyolu, Erenköy, Ataşehir, and Batı Ataşehir. The institution's reputation also extended to the European side with the opening of Kemerburgaz Kindergarten, Primary School, and Middle School. In the 2015-2016 academic year, the network grew even larger with the establishment of Burçak Eyüboğlu Batı Ataşehir Kindergarten, Primary School, and Middle School, along with Eyüboğlu Ataşehir Kindergarten and Primary School. Today, Eyüboğlu boasts 15 schools, including 6 kindergartens, 4 primary schools, 3 middle schools, and 2 high schools.

Over the decades, Eyüboğlu has proudly educated thousands of students, achieving remarkable success both nationally and internationally. Guided by the principles and reforms of Atatürk, the institution has continually elevated the standards of education, earning its place as one of Turkey's most esteemed educational organizations. From its early days to its current stature, Eyüboğlu remains steadfast in its mission to inspire, nurture, and empower future generations.

  1. Eyüboğlu Eğitim Kurumları

    1970

    The Beginning of Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions

    The journey began with the establishment of Arı Dershanesi by Dr. Rüstem Eyüboğlu in 1970, marking the institution's first step into the world of education.

     

  2. Eyüboğlu Koleji

    1985

    The Opening of Eyüboğlu College

    Eyüboğlu College was inaugurated in Kadıköy, setting the foundation for a tradition of academic excellence.

     

  3. Eyüboğlu Koleji Çamlıca Kampüsüne taşındı.

    1988

    Establishment of the Çamlıca Campus

    Eyüboğlu College moved to its expansive Çamlıca campus, a state-of-the-art facility spanning approximately 33,000 square meters. That same year, the Eyüboğlu Kadıköy Primary School was established at the original Kadıköy location.

     

  4. Eyüboğlu Fen Lisesi

    1993

    The Launch of Eyüboğlu Science High School

    The Çamlıca campus expanded further with the addition of Eyüboğlu Science High School. Facilities such as Eyüboğlu Hall, a 500-seat theater, advanced science and technology labs, the Teacher Work Center, and the Central Library solidified its reputation for academic innovation.

    Eyüboğlu became the first school in Turkey to implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, reinforcing its global educational standards.

    The Burçak Rüstem Eyüboğlu Health and Education Foundation (BURSEV) was founded to support deserving students and foster educational development.

     

  6. Eyüboğlu Gözlemevi I

    1997

    Eyüboğlu Observatory I Opens

    The first and only Observatory/Space Research Laboratory among secondary educational institutions in Turkey was established at the Çamlıca Campus in 1997.

    Eyüboğlu proudly hosted Charles Duke on September 27, 1997, the youngest astronaut to walk on the Moon during the Apollo 16 mission. Canadian renowned astronaut Chris Hadfield later visited the Observatory on May 15, 2018.

     

  7. Çamlıca İlköğretim Okulu

    1998

    Çamlıca Primary School Opens

    In 1998, Eyüboğlu Çamlıca Primary School, along with the state-of-the-art open sports facilities at the Çamlıca Campus, was officially inaugurated by the 9th President of Turkey, Mr. Süleyman Demirel.

    The campus includes a 5,000-square-meter green field thoughtfully designed to provide students with ample space for sports and recreational activities. This vibrant area promotes physical well-being and offers a dynamic environment for students to explore their athletic potential and enjoy outdoor play.

    Eyüboğlu became the first Turkish school to earn accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS).

    The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) was introduced.

    Opening of the Eyüboğlu Sports and Arts Complex: A Hub for Creativity and Athletics

    The Eyüboğlu Sports and Arts Complex opened, featuring cutting-edge facilities for arts and athletics.

    This state-of-the-art facility includes a semi-Olympic swimming pool, two indoor sports halls, an archery training track, a running track, drama and theater halls, choir and music rehearsal rooms, a music recording studio, a folk dance hall, a ballet and step dance hall, a modern dance studio, visual arts workshops, and multipurpose halls, providing students with comprehensive opportunities in sports and the arts.

    Establishment of Eyüboğlu Koşuyolu Kindergarten

    Recognizing the growing importance of early childhood education, Eyüboğlu Koşuyolu Kindergarten was inaugurated in 2004, offering a nurturing environment for young learners to thrive and grow.

     

  11. Uluslararası Bakalorya İlk Yıllar Programı (IB PYP)

    The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)

    The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) was introduced in 2005. This milestone marked Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions as the first authorized educational institution in Turkey to implement all three International Baccalaureate programs: PYP, MYP, and DP.
