The IB Programs at Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions
Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions offer International Baccalaureate Programs. As stated in our mission, our goal is to educate our students to become leading individuals in national and international communities, academically and socially. We believe that for a young person to be successful in the 21st century, they should not only meet the standard requirements of a national system but also maximize their individual potential. Thus, Eyüboğlu Educational Institutions implement a curriculum based on the principles and philosophy of the International Baccalaureate while also meeting the requirements of the Turkish Ministry of National Education. With the education program in place, we aim to nurture independent, self-confident, inquisitive, and lifelong learners who value social sensitivity, tolerance, and respect for diversity. Our students are encouraged to help both themselves and others.
What is International Baccalaureate (IB)
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational organization committed to its mission and focused on students. Established in 1968 as a non-profit educational organization in Geneva, Switzerland, the IB works with over 5,000 schools in more than 150 countries, offering academically rigorous programs to over one million students aged 3 to 19. The International Baccalaureate (IB) offers programs with the aim of equipping students with intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills to thrive in an increasingly globalized world in terms of living, learning, and working.
What makes this program so distinctive?
Their curriculum and educational approach prioritize international perspectives in teaching and learning, while emphasizing the importance of students fully exploring their own culture and languages.
IB World Schools must undergo a rigorous authorization process that includes an examination of the school's commitment to the IB mission and philosophy and an assessment of the school's resources in order to offer one or more IB programs. IB teachers participate in a wide range of professional development programs to keep their knowledge up to date and to share their expertise with colleagues around the world.
Many students who graduate from the IB Diploma Program find that it enhances their options and achievements in their higher education. IB works closely with universities worldwide to ensure the recognition of its programs. The core of IB programs encourages students to participate in creative and community service-focused activities while also emphasizing the importance of transformative thinking on both a personal and academic level.
